90 Days in Europe is an iOS app that tracks how long you have spent in the Schengen area. You log your trips and it works out how many of your 90 days you have used and how many you have left, using the rolling 180-day window that the rule is based on.
If you visit the Schengen area without a visa, you can stay for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. The 180-day period keeps rolling, so on any given day you look back over the previous 180 days and add up the days you were in the area. That total must not be more than 90.
The Schengen area, which includes Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. Days in any of these countries add to the same 90-day total.
For each trip you enter the date you arrived and the date you left. The app counts both the day of entry and the day of exit, adds up the days that fall inside the current 180-day window, and shows how many of your 90 days remain.
Yes. Add the dates you are thinking about and the app checks whether the trip would keep you within 90 days. If it would push you over, it tells you and shows the latest date you could stay until.
Overstaying the 90/180 limit can lead to fines, being refused entry, or an entry ban, so it is worth avoiding. The app is designed to warn you before you get close to the limit so you can adjust your plans in time.
